This is a fixed/stationary mounting bracket that will allow you to relocate your factory installed tailgate camera on your 2019-2024 RAM® 1500 truck that has a 8.4″ display.
Aftermarket truck equipment manufacturers and upfitters often lose the rearview camera system altogether when removing a RAM® Truck’s tailgate with built-in camera.
Simply unplug your factory tailgate camera behind the rear bumper and remove your tailgate. Install the relocation housing with OEM camera and mount on any flat surface. Run the camera coaxial harness to the factory camera plug and reconnect. The camera will function the same on your factory display.
This kit is only compatible with 2019-2024 RAM® 1500 trucks that came from the factory with the tailgate camera and 8.4″ display. For trucks with a 12″ display see SKU: CS-DTR-21RNCF-12. For trucks with the 360 surround view system see SKU: CS-DTR-19RSCF
